SILVER BELLS

Love is blind, love conquers all, Love is powerful and strong, Love can hurt and can help. These are some of those various chestnuts about love that we often hear from everybody. Is ist really true? For my parents the answer is indeed yes! Twenty-five years of togetherness, love, passion, excitement, happiness, pleasure, trust and even sorrows, fights and misunderstandings. Together they surpassed all impediments and provided evidence that love is really great. Nov. 27 1981 when they offered their solemn vow to love each other endlessly, to respect and trust one another faithfully and to cherish in the fruits of whatever fate may lay before them and that only death may would make them apart. Today, they are celebrating their 27th year of stong promise! Congrats!

REGISTER NOW!

I have just registered myself to COMELEC to vote this comming 2007 election. I went to Commission on Election Office at around 7:00 am and I was finnished at 3:00pm without break. Yes it was a horrible day. I observed that their system on registration process is very unorganized. It seems that nobody cares about the people falling in line. Approximately 500 people are having their line and hoping to register themesleves. Rats! and when you come in the room where you need to reg yourself it seems that nothing happens outside. The workers are very relax! omg! I think Philippines will never progress with those people. With that very simple and little event they don't know how to handle it? Sucks... How much more for the entire country! what the heck!

Anyway, as a concern citizen have yourself register now. Registration is until Dec. 31, 2006.
Who may register. - Any Filipino citizen who is:
1. At least eighteen (18) years of age;
2. A resident of the Philippines for at least one (1) year and in the place wherein he proposes to vote for at least six (6) months on or before the day of the election;
3. Not otherwise disqualified by law.

Don't forget to bring a valid I.D. and for more details just visit http://www.comelec.gov.ph/.

HOW CAN YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME TO?

HOW CAN YOU SAY YOU LOVE ME TOO?
BY: MART ARMAND A. ADIONG

The river flows as the wind blows
The moon gleams as the stars beam
In the midst of this sultry night
Constantly thinking of you
How can you say you love me too?

The things we hide, the thoughts we say
Disproving how we feel within
When we’re near we tend to be apart
Just to conceal the things about us
How can you say you love me too?

When were here or right up there
The smile I place upon my face
When I see you in his embrace
It hurts me so but I can’t show
How can you say you love me too?

There’s a song inside my heart
Saying we shouldn’t be apart
But a lot of things mystifying me
From the pit of my memory
How can you say you love me too?

The obscurity of my affection lives on
From the core of my heart
From the hub of my mind
This question keeps puzzling me
How can you say you love me too?

9 MORNINGS

Hi bloggers, I have nothing to do again! cant't sleep coz I am waiting ti''l 4am to attend SIMBANG GABI. It will be my 4th time for this year. Obviously I havn't completed the 9 mornings but its ok... Anweiz, I wonderd when does simbang gabi started? And I found out that

simbang Gabi traces its roots in Mexico when, in 1587, the Pope granted the petition of Fray Diego de Soria, prior of the convent of San Agustin Acolman, to hold Christmas mass outdoors because the Church could not accommodate the huge number of people attending the evening mass.
During the old times, the pre-dawn mass is announced by the ringing of the church bells. In some rural areas, an hour before the start of Simbang Gabi, a brass band plays Christmas music all over the town. It is also believed that parish priests would go far knocking on doors to wake and gather the faithful to attend the misa de gallo. Farmers as well as fishermen wake up early to hear the Gospel before going to their work and ask for the grace of good harvest.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANN2x

NOTE: Since it is your special day I'll be a little bit serious this time! No teasing and all. (hehehehe)

Babe,

I was about to turn in when suddenly my cell phone rang. It’s exactly 12:00 midnight of the twenty first day of the month. I intended to set my alarm on this very moment for, I would like to be the first one not just to greet you but to thank God that way back 19 years ago at this day He created one of the most wonderful creation He ever gave me, and it was certainly you my dear. Always remember that your birth on earth is not all about you. You have a purpose that is greatly far than your personal discharge. It’s not about your accomplishments and achievements nor your happiness. It’s far greater than your ambitions and dreams and even your family and love ones. As what the bible said : For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invinsible,… everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. Always start with God.

So I’m wishing you today a “Happy Birthday” and may the sunbeams of good cheer outshine on you all year through, and bring you more bliss that could possibly come true. I would like to use this chance to express thanks for being my very special friend. I know it’s pretty cheesy but thank you for being always there for me and being such a caring and nice friend. I hope you’ll never change, stay as witty, delightful and naturally brilliant scintillating as you. We’ve been together for a sem or two but from that little time I learned so many things that I will never forget for my whole existence. I’m looking forward that this friendship will last a lifetime. I promise to treasure every moment that we have and we will have. You scarcely find me in serious mode but all I’m telling you now is with utmost sincerity.
Again HAPPY BIRTHDAY babe!...not in the city! ( ai churi2x)

Birthday bouquets,
MART

TRAMZ NEWS PATROL

Five of the biggest news in the country happened this month: The push for Charter-Change, Super Typhoon Reming, the Subic Rape Case Decision, Appointment of the new Chief Justice and the opening of the 2006 Doha Asean Games.

The push for Charter-Change

“Dinuduraan ni JDV ang mukha ng taong bayan. Tinatadyakan ang Saligang Batas, pinapatay ang diwa ng Saligang Batas. Kung may mahalay pa sa salitang bastos wala na akong maisip pa!” Qouting from ABANTE-TONITE, which is a manifestation of what and how the House of Representatives are doing their their best to have our nation to overhaul itself. Two days of marathon session just for one resolution, and they’re doing it again tonight, I’ll not be surprised if a majority of those congressman votes wrongly.

Change is not bad, especially if it aims for good. I’m not against the Parliamentary System - actually, I considered myself a supporter of the Cha-Cha, but after seeing how Congress is forcing the change, and railroading the procedure, I’m now a member of the opposition.Opposition, labor sectors, and activist have always pronounced their outraged attitude against Charter-Change. El Shaddai and C.B.C.P. have reacted so far, in addition to Senate’s brave attempts to stop the Cha-Cha without them.

Actually there are two blocks that the Congress needs to overstep: Supreme Court, and the Filipino People. Good thing though, Supreme Court had already revealed its own claws after it had stopped the People’s Initiative.

Another from inq7: Filipinos are widely opposing this pre-emptive assault of the Majority in the House. A survey was held last November, and 7 out of 10 Filipinos dont want a charter-change. And I would be voting a big NO! when a plebiscite is held in May or November next year.

Anyway, I wonder how things going to turn out.

Super Typhoon Reming

The Congress is talking about Charter-Change when a thousand people have died, another thousand are hurt and another thousand are missing. So what’s the whole crap Congress is making? Evrybody’s question, that is.

Reming is the strongest typhoon that hit the country this year, after Milenyo last October. And another typhoon is expected to arrive in the country. And everybody hoped that it isn’t as strong as Milenyo and Reming.

Again, the Bicol Region is the most davastated. Kawawa naman sila, lagi silang naaapektuhan ng mga kalamidad sa bansa.

The Decision over the Subic Rape Case

GUILTY.

L/CPL Daniel Smith was found guilty of rape of “Nicole”. And his three other comrades have escaped the claws of justice. Anyway, the decision is fair enough.

I hope it severes the US-RP relations. (I’m being an activist here, hahaha!) Seriously, even if the US embassy or the DFA says it will not interfere with the two country’s relations, they’re wrong. Ang lamat ay lamat na, kahit anong gawin nila, hindi nila maibabalik ang kagandahan ng salamin.

Anyway, Smith’s going to get out of the prison when he’s 60.

New Chief Justice

NEW Chief Justice Reynato Puno has rejected claims that the administration gained an ally on the issue of constitutional reforms when President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo appointed him to the post, and said that no one had him figured out at this point. inq7.net

When I woke up this morning, I was surprised to know that we already had a new Chief Justice. And it happened December 7, at exactly 12:00 midnight, habang tulog ang buong bansa.

Sabi nga sa Unang Hirit, lahat ng mahahalagang pangyayari sa panahon ni GMA ay nangyayari sa madaling araw, like yung nanumpa si GMA noong EDSA II, at nung pinasumpa si fmr. CJ Panganiban. Anyway, the point is, nagtratrabaho si GMA hanggang umaga.

Another, I am dissapointed when the JBC didn’t recommend Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago. I’d like her to be the Chief Justice, she’s so damn intellegent.

2006 Doha Asean Games

As I have posted last Wednesday, the Philippine Delegation still has no gold to be proud of. I’ve read from one blog commenting:

Surprised?

NO!

Really, I’m not surpised too. I was more surpised when we got 140+ golds in the SEA Game. But it hurts everytime I we still got no gold medal.

SCHOOL FRIEEND SPECIAL I: ANG MGA HANGAL!

From left to right (standing: Biboy= Ang brains ng barkada, Mart= no comment, Bobet = the narcistic guy sitting: Jun2x=The master barely, Carlo ang Tangero )

hahaha!!! nakakahiya ang mga LARAWAN!!! tsktsktskk... Well, Anyway since its christmas season and i have nothing to do here, nakakita na naman ako ng mapagdidiskitahan... BORING dito sa bahay!hahahaay! I have just browsed my pc and scanned over my old pictures on my picture files and I was captivated with couple of pix and this is one of those. This was taken during our JS prom haha! disgusting ang larawan! tsktsktsk! I have just reminisced my high school years. And the greatest lessons I have learned in my life, I have learned the hard way. High school life was no exception. I have learned a lesson in love, work ethics, faith, trust and especially friendship in all my four years in secondary education, which I will never forget. High School days were over. Gone are the days when these five windows of hope were hanging out anywhere. School canteen, CYO gym, oval, G-mall, Sir sobrecary’s room, internet cafés, HCDC library and along the streets of Davao City. These were the place were the NERDS used to stay. Yes, NERDS! We were the so-called nerds. I really don’t know why!? But perhaps because we were the once who always top during quizzes and exams in our section. (Char lang! hehehe). They thought we were always studying but, little did they know we’re just SMART ONE’S (huhaa) or let say we were the more dedicated brilliant students among others ( huuhaa napud tskktskktskk) So much for that delusion anyway! (hahaha) We used to fantasize ourselves seeing each other in Illinois, driving our own car and a lot of majestic imaginations. Now, it is sad to note that graduation came, after years of hard-earned friendship and all alliances, time came for us to part ways. However, our friendship did not end their, we still afford to keep in touch. In fact, we always have our escapades and adventures during sem breaks and sometimes watch movies and play computer games when our busy schedules meet. Now, I’m a 3rd year nursing student together with Jun2x and Cyril in the same college. Biboy is in SPC . Carlo has an English major degree in USEP.

SCHOOL FRIENDS SPECIAL PART II : F4 WITH CHAN SCAI AND IMANG

( from left to right: Cyril= The walking thesaurus, Gringo= The actor, Morry = Ang model sa 24/7, Niccole = Ang deanslister, Aimae = Ang deanslister pud! Atik lang!, Mart= No comment napud!)

After high school, here comes college. I can say that my years in college was considered to be thrilling, enjoyable, exciting and of course full of adventures. And it was because of these guys. At first, we were only four in the group Morry, Gringo, Cyril and I. Together we play computer games(counter strike days), go night swimming(samal escapeds), night lifes’( choli2x) and others are confidential. (hehehehe) However, from four we became six. Niccole came around. She acted like our parent, (hehehe) reminds us with our school works as projects, quizess, exams etc. (or let say kopyahanay days tsktsktsk). Eventually, the Major in English Aimae came. She becomes our clown, comedian, joker, and entertainer. (IMAANG!) Nothing can compare with the enthusiasm and energy of the group. Together we shared stories, problems and advices. Through thick and thin, we faced life. For us the happenings in life are not just dates on the calendar that come and go, soon to be forgotten. Rather, they are events that unfold before us, and involve all our forces and energies. That time we wanted to experience college and undergo them as full as we can. But, it is inevitable that one needs to go and continue living in his own. Now we might not see each other that often as before but as on a text message I have read, “True bonding is not measured by the time spent together or the favors done for each other but by the comfort, you find when you realize you have each other”. And I think that’s one great feature of having true friends. (nakahilak nakog popcorn!)

SCHOOL FRIENDS SPECIAL PART III : BLUSANG ITIM THE FULL EDITION

From left to right: standing: Cyril= the supercalifragilisticespialidousious”,
Jc = “ I think you love HIM SOUUCH?!, Michael = ang sayo natulog kay nasumbagan ni direk pasensya kay baby ni sa ilang balay kay Attention deficit hyperactivity Syndrome victim man gud xa, Mart= “directed by”, Niccloe = “ the journey has begun”, Gringo= ang pacute nga waiter, sitting: hervey= ang heartthrob na bida kuno ,kristyl “ Ang sexing bida kuno, Marcus= Ang nagdalag timbangan, Aimae= Ang nahadlok sa wedding dress and Christine at the center = “ the nerve!”)

“Once there were individuals who made their way to college. It is said that birds with the same feathers flock together. And because of a common factor these individuals group together and join forces. So seatback and relax as TALENTS, GOODLOOKS and BRAINS continues……….” ( sounds familiar??!) Yes, talents, good looks and brains these three things were our common qualities. Like hydrogen and ions, we were destined to be bonded by these apparent factors present within ourselves (hhuuhhaa). That picture was taken as our billing for our literature filmmaking. And because our teacher permitted us to choose our own group, we never think twice to be together. I can still remember when we had our first taping day. After a long months of waiting and preparations all were very excited. Things were also very ready. Camera, costumes, makes ups, foods etc. We climbed at Shrines Hills and had some scenes taken. After a couple of takes, it was about eight in the evening when all of us were very eager to view the scenes. I turned the camera on pushed the button and CHAAARAANNG!!!! we learned that the camera we used was defective. GRRRRRRR!!!! We tend to transfer to another location to fix the video camera and continue our scenes. However, it was already late night when we reached the place. So things were packed up. On the next taping day, everything went smoothly. Although there were some problems but I successfully fixed it up. After school we immediately went to our location and had things taken. From six o’clock’ pm to six o’clock am that’s the length of our shooting. I’m sure you can’t wait to see it. So I will never obstruct your privilege to watch a word class film. And get hook with the wacky, hilarious yet naughty gang of BLUSANG ITIM THE FULL EDITION!

I can’t imagine how I made it through the storms, how I made it through those distress brought by the nursing profession (tsktsk) and through those trials, which I faced all the way through my prime years in college. I am so happy that as of now I have made it. Thanks for four people who adopted me from nowhere. They have helped me to be a better person emotionally, physically, intellectually, spiritually and socially. ( mura mag meaning sa health hehehe) This time these fellas are more serious and more devoted type of person. No beaches, no movies, no autoshops , no drinking, no computer games just library(naghimog kodigs! Hehehe), books and books. That is why people used to call us the table of contents. One some of our classmates noticed us when together we ate in a table talking about books and some school related stuffs. Honestlly, in this group I learned so many things since I am the youngest hence they taught me how to be more mature in doing things and handling situations. Thank you guys!

PAHABOL! GROUPMATES ko!

THE UNBEATABLE GROUP 26 HS103 NUMBER 1 GROUP
hehehe... I don't have time na!! I'll say something about this pix soon....

WORST DAYS EVER!

Last week was a total disaster. It was my most horrible week ever. Since my classmates appointed me to be the class president the burdens brought by our epidemiology manuscript was drawn all in me. The first day of our community exposure was really a tedious one Ultraviolet rays of the sun, muddy roads, and heavy bags. (grrrr). I went home very late just to collate the data. From the fifty people of the whole 13G class thank to those five people who helped me. On the second day, my migraine attacked when I was so busy distributing tasks and requesting those hardheaded people to help in our paper. Some of us never sleep including me just to finish our manuscript. After those sleepless nights our case presentation came. I had just gone home and took a nap when I came school I found out that a lot of things wasn’t fixed. There was no page number, some table doesn’t have justification, some pages wasn’t printed yet and a lot more…. So, our manuscript was passed late. Our panelist became mad. So the result was a 58% flying with color final score. In the afternoon our clinical instructor met us. We passed our requirements and boogng! She became crazy with what we passed “ Unsa ko ktabang?! Nakaluko mo sa akoa? Unsa mani………………………………..”
we should be released at 4:00 o’clock pm but it was about 6:00 pm when she dismissed the poor group 31.(huhuhuh). When I’m about to go home I pip on my wallet when I found out that I’m brook. I only have an exact amount of 6.00 pesos. I was walking along the street when booghsszz! my chock-full bag busted out! OMG! All of my things fell down and speckled all over the sidewalk. What a shame!!! I was alone when I quickly dig those up .

In that week also the night before our prelim exam I had a 41 degree fever with flu and colds. I didn’t had a review even a single glance on our lesson. And in that case, I expect to have a flunk score. (HUHUHU). What a disastrous week.! Yon lang! There’s a lot to say but one sitting is not enough!
