BONIFACIO DAY!

BONIFACIO DAY!

What all I can say? its Bonifacio day! (heheeh) Nope, it’s not like I have nothing to say nor I got tired of writing. In fact, my head is so brimming with thoughts that my fingers can’t keep up with them already.

It's just I feel bad! It sucks big time that we don’t have internet for a month in our house, although its not DSL or cable but its my crummy dialup.why? simply because of poverty! (heheeh) Rats! And it’s been two weeks already since I have kept on memorizing and internalizing those RETURN DEMONSTARTIONS procedures to the extent that I don't have even time combing my hair. And erlier we had our make up class in NCM and NSG RESEARCH in leiu with the holiday tomorrow and because DDC oncology building will not have classess on saturday since the rooms will be utilized for the board exam stuffs or something! im not sure! I was so tired with the lectures about FLUIDS AND ELECTROLYTES and all those epistatic terminologies our CI had taught us, as hyper corticosteroids, peocromocytoma and all about burn patients.... ERFERERF!!! my head was about to drain! why? because my body and brain cells are used to have a break every thursday but unfortunately we just had our make up class!

Thus, BONIFACIO DAY? ANONG KONEK? hehehe! anyway, since I have nothing to say about this day! let me just share to you this video! I guess it has something to do with today's occation anyhow!

A FIGHT FOR PISO

After a long day of stressful schooling, having a hot temper I was on my way home, mounting in a "jeepney". The heavy traffic along Bankerohan made me reflect into myself and think about so many stuffs. These include my crushes, experiences earlier that morning and the stupid thing we have done a while ago on our proposed Nursing Research title. I won’t go into details for, It definitely militates against the integrity and credibility of our school. (kung naa man! Joke! PEACE DDC!)
All of a sudden, all passengers went out. I was the only human
mortal inside (aside of course from the driver and "Kondoctor" who was seated in front) when two old women on their mid 50’s went in. Immediately they gave their P100.00 bill to the "kondoctor" and keep on saying "Ang kambyo "……"A kambyo dong". My soliloquy says "ka apurado pud ana nila uy kambyuhan lagi mo". Goaded "kondoctor" sarcastically replied " di paman kaha mo munaog? Hulat sa gud!" and at the same time gave the change. The two woman circumspectly counted it and murmured " ihapa daw? Dapat P86.00 na! .." oh tama " After about a minute I gave my twenty peso bill to the " kondoctor" saying " bayad oh! Isa lang bajada. Estudyante." I spoke to myself " unya nanang kambyo oi! I’m not like that two woman". The trip continued. A lot of passenger went in and out. Until suddenly I’d heard the noisy deafening sound of electricity. Yes, obviously I’m about home. " lugar lang , kambyo daw sa biente". "kondoctor" gave me P13.00 and I told him "kulang ! estudyante mana". " tama mana " said the "kondoctor" A short moment of silence……… until Mart said: " ayaw ko binuang nong! Tagaadlaw ko naga sakay diri bah!. I witnessed the bitterness on his face saying : oH! Tanawa nalangan nata tungod nimo! Kana laging dugay kaayo kuhaon ang kambyo ba!". With my blood reaching on its boiling point replied " It is not my privilege to get my change from you anyway! Isn’t your responsibility? Huh!? Mao gain nang nay "KONDOCTOR" mao nalang gain na imong trabaho di pajud mahimug tarong! ( English jud to! Hehehe). The passengers yelled and said" tama! Sais lang mana estudyante" After a long time of altercations finally she gave me P1.00 peso. When I got it I said "imuha nani, then threw it to him, then stepped down. Am I so mean?
So what’s the moral lesson of the story? Please write your comments! (hehehehe

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KUYA!

Nov. 23! birthday of my cousin, and because he is my beloved cousin who is very special to me, the one who empties my ink and messess my room(hehehe). Honestly the guy who I consider to be my KUYA since birth, So, I will not think twice to make some post about him.
I will start with my birthday messsage and it goes something like this:

Hi kuya! its your Birthday once again! It feels different when your on your 20’s now. isn't it? as in INTIMACY vs. ISOLATION stage as eric ericson's psychosocial theory per se.
You have just celebrated your 23rd year with simple treat to all ADLWAN clan and with your chosen friends as well. I know your quite disapponted because your greatest birthday wish wasn't granted and we both know what was that. (nihilak paman gani ka sabay tanaw sa pictures: hehehe... walang laglagan this time)

And here's my wishes for you:

1. Graduate from College (sa accounting and with a Silver Medal - for Cum Laude, if possible!)
Get a job in a decent company (with a decent pay)

2. Stop being hypochondriac (ayaw ka epistaxis, pangitag dictionary)

3. HAve a big body . ( as JHON SENA, BATISTA or pakyaw) and lastly

4. Practice monogamy (hehe atik lang)

That’s all for now! I’ve said my piece about his birthday. I hope I can upload some of our pics last night duringhis birthday celebration, and post it here. Just wait for that folks....

MARK MY WORD

thank you!
I just wanna share this to you.... It is a poem composed by my friend named ELLA KRISSAN ARBOLEDA for her x.....

THANK YOU
I may call it fate or destiny perhaps
You were once disguised to be rude and cold
I never thought of having this moment spend with you
You’ve done amazing things for me that no one had ever did
You touched my life in ways that overwhelms me
With you I realize that fairy tales do exixt
A spell was cast and blossomed something within
And yet, still I hesitate to express what I feel
For I’m blankeketed with fear
You’ve became a part of me
A chapter in my journey
Memories I promise to treasure
You’re a blessing I want to keep
I’m in bliss with your presence
I hope to grasp the courage to make you feel how thankful I am
I don’t want to hold on in any promises for I scare change
I thank thee for sending you to me
Life has been kind for I was given the
Chance to know you.Thank you

PASKO NA!

34 days to go! PASKO NA!
Although its quite cliche to say but Christmas is the time for giving, time for love and time for forgiveness.(take note forgiveness: hehehe) It is Jesus’ birth, so we must cherish it. It is not about gifts, foods, decorations, christmas trees and other holiday-related things
To tell you the truth, I dont really fancy Christmas. Why? Kasi konti lang kami sa bahay, 3 na tao lang, kaya malungkot ang pasko namin… Kain lang, tapos, tulog na. Well, that is our routine, … PArang wala lang like just any oher occassions, unlike when i was younger I used to join christmas parties and all.And with the fact that firecarackers are already restricted here in Davao City. I'm not saying I'm against this policy, it is just that I missed those times when my friends and I were making fun with firecrackers kahit sparklers lang.hehe! But life must move on, so as they say, tuloy na tuloy pa din ang Pasko.
And speaking “tuloy na tuloy pa din ang Pasko”… Yes… tuloy na tuloy ang Pasko sa ABS-CBN with their newest station ID “Angat ang Ligaya ng Pasko”.

" Ako ang natapos" :MORALES

It's Big Victory for Manny AGAIN!
The Pambansang Kamao has again brought glory to the Filipino people. Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao won by KO in the third round of his final battle with Mexico’s Erik "El Terrible" Morales. Pacquiao knocked his opponent thrice before an eighteen thousand strong crowd at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pacman remains the World Boxing Council (WBC) International Super Featherweight Champion.
According to sports analysts, Pacquiao quickly defeated Morales because of his lightning moves and his punches that landed in bunches, which made it hard for the Mexican to recover. His coach Freddie Roach also believes that even though Manny’s vicious left ended round three, the boxer’s developed right hook was the main reason behind his victory. Even Morales admitted that the Pacman’s ‘just too fast and too strong.’
Pacman will be taking home $3 million and is looking forward to a match with WBC World Featherweight Champ Marco Antonio Barreira. He has made every Pinoy around the world proud, including President Gloria Arroyo who said that Manny continues to be the country’s hero and the bearer of the Filipino dream. Manila City too, is preparing a grandiose welcome for the boxing hero. Manny could not thank every one who prayed and cheered for him enough. He can’t wait to return home and share his win with his kababayans. He’s also excited to see his daughter, Mary Divine Grace, for the very first time.
I wasn't really doing my stuffs for school yesterday becasue of this fight, and so as the whole people in the philippines. here's the evidence:

a week of a NURSING student

Hello folks.... A week has been ended again!!! I just wanna share to you a sultry, wonderful, exiting and stressful week of a NURSING STUDENT!

Monday: NOthing REMARKABLE! We just had our Lecture Demonstration about parecentisis and thoracentesis. Our discussion was fun merely because our discussion is just between my friend and I. In other words I didn't listen to my Clinical instructor. hehehe It is due to her INEFFECTIVE TEACHING PATTERN RELATED TO TEMPORAL BRAIN DYSFUNCTION AND LACK OF KNOWLEDGE SECONDORY TO A GRADUATE OF DDC. hehehe She was extremely boring and it is better to read my book than to listen her reading the book. I was so nervous during our post test because I really don't know what to answer, good thing was our PCI was coaching us anyhow....heheeh RESULT : 22/30 A SURVIVOR MART ARMAND! quite BAD :-(

TUESDAY: mmmhhhh!!!! WE had our RETURN demonstration on OXYGEN ADMINISTARION...... I was very disappointed when I knew that it is not our assigned clinican insructor who will be the one to critic and grade us.... It was our PCI it doesn't mean PESTENG CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR but PRACTICING CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR... ehehehe....I was lucky beacuse I was under the service of doctor Ay! mali mmhh! ( I have forgetten the name of that girl) but I thank her for giving me the RESULT: A SMILING mart ARMAND! 90%!!!! yehey! Although I aimed for 95 and above Its quite good because other PC'IS are very LOW GRADE GIVER in SHORT FEELING CI. My other groupmates were below 85 and I was fortunate enough.
WEDNESDAY: This day was very scary for me because we are gonna have our RETURN DEMONSTARTION on GASTRIC LAVAGE.... Provided a very scarce time in preparing and memorizing the steps... I really did'nt expect a higher grade this time because this procedure is kinda DIFFICULT! RESULT: a SATISfied mart armand! PARTIAL SCORE 85%
THURSDAY: SLEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPP!!!!! ZZZZZZhhhhhhhhzzhhhhh!!! Until I reallized that that we are going to have a quiz on PATOPHYSIOLOGY the next day! So, I was SHAKED RATTLED AND ROLLED because it was already 6pm I haven't secured a copy to study yet! Better I have bought immediately then SLLLEEEEEPPPP!!!! Again!!!! hehehe !!!!
FRIDAY: In the morning: Its BRENDA again !!! We had our 30 item quiz and the most memorable was, I had a minus . Why? because she acused me CHEATING. And Im INOCCENT! I SWEAR! I had my soliloquey stating " MAAYO! para naa pud koy mali ui! sige lang kog ka perfect!" hehehe Im not sour graping, I tell you its true.... heheeheh...In the afternoon my most awaited moment! we had our quiz on PATOphysio RESULT: A flunk mart ARAMND! huhuhuhu ;-(

SATURDAY: Nothing REMARKABLE! just a typical day! We had our READING SESSION in NCM and we had our quiz in HISTO RESULT: ? NURSING RESEARCH result: PERFECT! at last! hehe :-)

SCARIEST HALLOWEEN

SCARIEST HALLOWEEN :-D peace
This occasion is celebrated around the world, but celebrating Halloween in the Philippines is definitely the most unique one. Why? Hehehe, first of all, celebrating Halloween, the filipino style, does not mean kids in costume with candy bags and banging the doors.
Halloween for the Filipinos, is a sacred occasion which may be considered as a reunion of the family. They go to memorial parks, clean up their departed loved ones’ tombs, and light up some candles and offer flowers. Anyway, most of them go on Nov 1, the All Saints Day, knowing that Nov 2 is the “official” All Souls Day. So, that may be considered as Filipino stupidity. But I would’nt say too much about it, seeing that I do it myself, as they say, just go with the flow.
