Thank YOU PIGGY! Hello! MICKEY!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Most everyone, will going to be in the streets at the midnight of December 31 to say goodbye to the year 2007 and to welcome 2008. Goodbye pig hello rat! Yes! But, what does really the new year means? To some young people who seem to change their special friends as easily as they do their clothes the New Year means having a new girlfriend or a new boyfriend. A new pair of shoes, a new cellphone, a new Mp4 player, laptop, a new dress or new shirts. All these bring to their possesseors various degrees of delight, joy, happiness and ecstasy. However, along with the sparkle of fireworks and their boisterous bursting din, as we sit around the dinner table that fairly groans under the load of media noche goodies, let us not forget that this New Year is a good time to realize our learning from the previous year. It also means another chance of doing better than we had done before, a virtual Land of beginning again. A beginning to say THANK YOU! I am SORRY and HELLO!

Before moving forward let me just say thank you to all people who’ve been with me throughout the pig’s year. This year has been so challenging for me, a lot of major trials came about, there was a point that I almost gave up, in times that I felt wretched, helpless and thought that I can’t endure the test, there were people who were with me where I draw my strength from. To my family (Mama, Papa, Kuya, Nanay, Tatay), to the whole Adlawan and Adiong clan, to my entire group of friends and to my bestfriend. To the one who had me at my best and loved me at my worst and to the one who broke my heart and also to people that I broke their heart, to my past, present, and hopefully future whoever you are, to my friends in the blogging industry, chatrooms, friendster, forums, to my textmates from all over the country. To my readers and advertisers who supported Tramz Corner. To all CIs that has imparted their knowledge, from the one who scared to the one who inspired me. To all my idols in different fields as sports, entertainment, journalism etc. To all my crushes. To our entire neighborhood. (Tambays, Chismosas, Sunog baga, Schitszophrenics, etc). To my opponents and enemies. A gigantic THANK YOU and I’M SORRY! Without you, I will never bear to surpass the entire obstacles of this year. I learned a lot from you. Learning that made me better. Realizations that will become my weapon to fight the war of the coming year. ( I'm sorry If I can't afford to mention all your names! baka may makalimotan ako! Basta You know who you are guys :-) )

More so, the beginning of New Year is traditionally an opportune time to make resolutions. This is certainly a good practice if we do not end simply with a collection of broken resolutions. By God’s enabling grace, let us act on our good plans. Let us remind ourselves that we have the acts of apostles, but not resolutions only. If we cannot implement our resolutions, it is still not a bad idea to make some.

My new Years Resolutions:
( In random order)

1. I’ll GRADUATE!! ….Magtarong nakog Iskwela….. Nagtarong naman ko pero tarongon pajud nako! Char! Haha! Magbasa nakog libro sa Rizal ug History! Dapat ma DL napud ko! Mabutang sa list sa Dean kay na IR hahaah! Simbako! Palayo!

Both internal and external factors. Kailangan lang jud malabanan ang tanan! And the both of you must do something about it! Kay kung dili way mahitabo! unta makita na nako akong soulmate! pero nakita naman nako siya di-ba? unta ikaw na..! pero kung wala pa..! Ayaw lang unyang alas dose pakita ha! I’ll do everything to pass this test! Everything and anything! Di lang ang leakage ha! Na! lisod na!

7. GRAB CHANCES!..... God always gives us many chances; it’s up to us if we’ll gonna grab this opportunity! pero usahay most of us are always contented to something na OK NA! PWEDA NA! HAPPY NAKO NA ANI! Why grab the chance to have better? Dibah? Take risks or else you’ll be stagnated being PWEDE NA without trying to do better or to have something better. Mao na! basta naay chance go na jud ko!

8. MANAGE MY TIME WISELY …. Time is gold they say! Isa sa pinaka natunan nako niining tuiga mao ang kaimportante sa ORAS…. There were many times were I fought with time and dealt with it so badly. Unya akong na realize nga kung naa lay enough time! Kung naa lang untay oras! Ako unta ning mahimo! Ani unta ang mahitabo! Basta I will just do about anything to make my every second productive. Never waste time. Why do it tomorrow if you can do it now.

9. BE GOAL ORIENTED… I’ll focus more on my VISION. MISSION and GOALS. Usahay kay makahimo ko ug butang nga di dapat. Usahay maglibog ko sa akong mga desisyon na pagahimoon. Kung asa ko muadto. Kung unsa o kinsa akong pillion. Buhaton bani nako o dili? Pero karon sa paghimo nako ug mga decision Iwill go back to basic. I’ll stick to my mission kung kani ba against sa katuparan sa akong mission o makatabang aron kini mahitabo. Pero unsa gyud diay akong Mission? huh? To spread love? hihihi! ambot lang wa pa ko kabalo! mag hunahuna sa ko! toinkcxz.

10. BE GOOD and be GENEROUS!... Simple. Kung unsay maayo maoy akong buhaton! Basta mag binuotan lang ko sa tanan! Mao lang na! Do unto others what you wan’t others to do unto you! gusto man ko na buotan ang tanan sa ako mao nang magbinuotan pud ko sa tanan. Ug isa pa I’ll be more magnanimous this time. Kung kaya nako ihatag, ihatag nako eh! Be it food, information, things, time, happiness etc. even love and pleasure! Hehehe.. In this way, anyhow I am also being helpful. Right!?...

That’s all for now!

Let's just accept the past for what it was. Acknowledge th present for what it is. And anticipate the future for what it can be.

HELLO 2008!

How about you? Have you made your own NY’s resolutions?

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

Where am I Heading?

WHERE AM I HEADING?

by: Mart Armand A. Adiong

My body is feeble
My heart stings
My mind is in mystery
Sitting here by the window
In my room with the lights put away
Listening my favorite poignant music
Watching the shade of raindrops outside
Waiting till my eyes will shout sluggish
I recalled all the things that has came about
Thinking of what have I been doing
Reflecting all the things around
I realized I’m going nowhere
Stuffs seemed a waste of time
Efforts are futile.
Effects are missing.
Answers appeared formless.
What’s the hitch?
Is it with me?
Or with the things around?
I just can’t react.
I just can’t understand.
I just don’t know.
where am I heading.?

CHRISTMAS WITH HOPE IN OUR HEARTS

Each year ends with the celebration of Christmas. The master of all celebrations. Whether one is rich or poor, black or white, young or young at heart you always anticipate Christmas season. Christmas is not just for children. It is for all humankind. Whether one is materially affluent or in the hovel of poverty is not requisite in experiencing the equal blessing the season brings, embodied in the four-letter word HOPE.

Hope encourages us to look at the brilliant side of life. Broken relationships, pressures in school or work, how to pay tuition fees and bills, conflicts with friends and love ones are among the many problems confronting the most of us today. Hope however, invites us to focus our aspiration to the bright reality that in Christ there is a promised bliss in God’s tomorrow.
From the time when I matured, when the time came that I learned that Christmas is not just all about gifts and firecrackers. When I realized that, this season is not really about candies and chocolates. At the point were I realized that Santa Clause is not real, in opposition to what every kid believes, my fantasy about Christmas brought to an end. Since then, no Christmas is that Happy anymore. However, I guess this year’s Christmas is I think better than ever since that view of mine about Christmas begun.

Please look at our pictures as we celebrated Christmas with HOPE in our HEARTS despite life’s vast tests.

14-O Christmas Party! A big SUCCESS!

Along with the real essence of Christmas that is, evoking the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ we can not deny the fact that when we speak about Christmas we always look forward to parties, exchange gifts and foods. That is why last December 19, 2007 we the BSN 14-O had our Christmas Party at the Forest Hill resort.
The party started at about 12:00 noon with a prayer immediately followed by the eating session. After an hour of consuming those scrumptious foods, we then started the program with parlor games. As the president of the class, I hosted the event along with the class treasurer. The first game we played was the hardest to conduct that we needed brainstorming just to conceptualize the game the most innovative and newest paper dance. ( hehehe_). Next, were statue dance, draw me a picture, ano ito, followed by message relay and lastly the blowjob game. We enjoyed every part of the games. We also enjoyed swimming in the 6 feet swimming pool of the venue. Of course, picture sessions will never be out of every party! Click here! Smile! their! Saying Cheese! Wooww! Bulabog!

Another thing the group enjoyed the most was the awarding ceremony; it is like giving credits to people who had given each and everyone the smile and laughter to our faces. Moreover, we gave acknowledgment to those observable people in our section. This was all about “ katuwaan lamang”. So after the several months of voting conference, the people had decided. The complete lists of winners are as follows.

Congratulations to the winners.!

The last part of the party was the most awaited exchanging of gifts. Every person had the chance to describe and give his/her gift to his/her manito/manita. And the one who received opens the gift in front of everyone. That was pretty exciting and fun seeing every gift. There were simple gifts, lush and even funny ones. But whatever it was what’s important is the smile that we brought to every recipient we had. Cool! We went home at about 7:00 Pm bringing the laughter and the great memory each one had experienced.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR 14-O! = )

Decision.Decision.Decision.

Throughout our life deciding may be the hardest thing to do. Whether to say yes or no? To go up or down? To the left or to the right?. We make a lot of decisions everyday, whether at home, work or in school. People usually step back saying “ suma nimo! Tiguwang naman ka bahala naka”.

In school, some friends invite us to join their group; others call us to join another group. We would like to join both groups, but in the end, we choose and decide. Emo or hiphop? Punk or trashers? Jologs or sosy? Nerds or sporty?

Some of the bigger decisions affect our use of time. We decide whether to stay at home for the weekend and finish our requirements in school, or go out with our friends and watch a movie. SM, NCCC or GS?, VICTO o Gmall? MTS, venue? halo? o autoshop?. Furthermore, boy gets attracted to a girl he decides whether he would pursue to court her or not so as with the girl if he deserves to be loved as well in return. Stop or go? On or Busted? In taking exams and quizzes, we decide whether the correct answer is letter a, b, c or d.

When we were small kids, we also made some small decisions. When we had to make bigger ones, our parents and elders taught us what to do, and we follow them. Now that we are big enough we are able to make many small decisions and big ones as well. Not only that, we are expected to make these big decisions. We do not have anymore someone like our mother to decide for us. We are expected to decide on our own.

I think that the hardest thing about making a decision is the result of that choice. Whether failure or success. Throughout my life the question, how to make the right decision? Is one thing I’ve been always asking myself. How do we really choose the correct decision? Is there anyway to make sure that a decision we chose is the right one? or will result to what we wished for? Is there really such thing as the right way to make decision? How will you know that the decision you made was the right one? I’ve spent about 19 years trying to answer that question. Until now, the answer is still very vague.

Sometimes when deciding is the hardest thing to do I would tend to leave everything to the coin “yes for hari and no for patay”. Come what may! Bahala na si batman. Bahala na si superman. Bahala na ang piso! Yes or no? piso? Unsa man? Pasabta ko!

How about you? how do you decide?
